"After Three Summers, Man Finally Gets Photos of Hummingbird With Rainbow Wings"
MyModernMet published this article highlighting the rare photos of hummingbird "prisms" taken by Stan as a follow-up to an earlier article about Rio de Janeiro-based artist and photographer Christian Spencer. Stan's photos (see more prisms) are among the first to appear since the Spencer's. Spencer learned about the phenomenom only after seeing the creatures appear in a video he filmed slowed down to 5% of its normal speed. Stan's son, David, saw Spencer's photos and challenged Stan to create a hummingbord "prism".
